We have continued to make progress this month on both the master planning work and the Martin Lane road stopping process.Edwards White Architects have been working on the master planning options for the site. They had hoped to have something ready for the Building Team meeting this week, but have advised that they need a little more time to refine the options before they are ready for review. While this means we need to wait a little longer, it is encouraging that progress is being made.

The goal remains, to have clear alternatives in front of us so we can better understand what is possible. There has also been a significant step forward with the road stopping. The Environment Court proceedings have now been filed, and the next formal step is for The Village Church Trust to join the proceedings as an interested party. Once the current response period has passed, we should have a clearer picture of which objectors remain involved in the process and what the next steps will look like.

As we continue through these stages, we are seeking to move forward with wisdom, patience, and integrity. We want to be faithful with the opportunities God has given us, while also being careful in how we engage with our neighbours, the wider community, and the formal processes now underway.

Please continue to pray for the Building Team, the architects, the consultants, the Elders, and all those involved in the Environment Court process. Pray for clarity, unity, wisdom, and for the name of Jesus to be honored in both what we build and how we go about it.
