About the event
In our first event for the year we’ll learn some life skills that will be helpful in being a light in
a dark world. Kelly Morgan and her mother, Sue Snoek, will each present a talk. Sue’s topic
is ‘Don’t take it personally’, and she will teach us how to stay calm when presenting an
alternative viewpoint to the popular narrative. She will also be looking at ways we can avoid
‘taking offence’ as we handle the ‘sword of truth’ with grace and precision.
Kelly’s topic is ‘Emotion Directed Reasoning’. She asks, “are feelings equal to facts? And,
which is worse: too much compassion or too little?” We’ll seek to understand reason from
both a head and heart perspective.
Tuesday January 30th, 7pm at The Village Church, 10 Martin Lane Horsham Downs.
